Day 28 - write a poem that poses a series of questions.(FTR I already did this on Day 21)
for my fellow insomniacs...
Why can't I rest at night
when the moon is full and bright
shining it's radiant light?
when the moon is full and bright
shining it's radiant light?
or when it's dark and dim
when outcomes feel so grim
and life is lacking vim?
waking hours unfold
my bedsheets are so cold
sleep is nocturnal gold
as eyes begin to close
and heartbeat slows
even so why can't I doze?
when daylight starts to creep
still I'm counting sheep
and not allowed to sleep?
