Darn you Winter
The snow blew around
like Mother Nature had decided to dust a cake
with icing sugar
but slipped and sneezed at the same time
It swirled and stuck
and turned puddles
into oozing thick slush
just dep enough to fill your shoes
The trees waved their branches
like friends saving you a seat
at a busy concert
trying to get your attention
across the screaming crowd
Winter has been relentless
ruthless
and darn right harsh
